Don’t bother to show me the way, I would better walk alone ;
Don’t impose any opinions on me, I would rather think on my own ;
The theory and philosophy of hopes over despair,
I wonder if it still works out there,
I was told humanity was on right track,
We went so far ahead that no one would have to look back ;
If the truth is eternal why doesn’t it apply for all ?
Hypocrisy still thrives and honesty experiences downfall?
May be the world we were once told of is only a dream
Of people lacking courage to look beyond their realm ;
I see every painted sweet dream falling apart,
people losing values and love in their heart;
So if at all you think you still can help ,
Find an honest way to change yourself;
A change that’s real so you don’t need words to hide,
Something you can tell your children with pride
And when they ask proof of your teachings one day
make sure you are not as helpless as you are today!
