We all should look back & give it a thought, our respective ancestors might all be ordinary people who did not have made much difference to the world but made enough for everyone of us, who carry similar legacy of wilful or circumstantial choices made centuries ago, for which we are here today.
‘Time flies’ has almost become a cliché ; we hear it all the time when someone becomes nostalgic. We never really put into context the direction one is looking into and the pace of the proverbial flight.
How things change over the time realizing value of people, mortality of life and how aspirations of future overtakes the past to make us forget it or at least take us far far away from it.
I was astonished to have found this sixth sense of that so called disabled person navigating his way through the crowd…
“Take this ..” his words attracted my attention again. He was holding an old stainless still glass having uneven surfaces and contours all along its periphery. May be it reflected the wear and tear it had gone through throughout this man’s travel. I saw some vapors coming out of the glass. It was the black tea that he had made on those cinders and residues of the fire. I sipped the tea. It was only hot water, a spoon of sugar and tea powder without any milk. But it tested well.
